2016 Piccadilly Comedian of the Year, Eshaan Akbar, brings his work-in-progress show ‘Eshaan Who? Akbar!’ to Brighton Fringe. Fresh from supporting Dane Baptiste on his national tour and appearing on the BBC Asian Network Comedy Night, he explores what it means to strive for success in a middle-class British-Asian household. Did reading Thatcher’s ‘Path To Power’ aged 12, later pursuing a career in Bollywood dancing and then banking really set him on the path to success? More Info…

An hour of comedy from two up-and-comers, Micky Overman – ‘a keen comic mind’ (Chortle.co.uk) – and Helen Bauer – ‘Bauer is so funny’ (NPRBerlin.de) – about life and all their feelings, which they’re super excited to share with you. Helen is a super energetic over-sharer and Micky is honest, with a hint of darkness. In 2016, Micky was a finalist in the Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year and Funny Women with Helen reaching the regional finals. Both were semi-finalists in So You Think You’re Funny and Helen has been heard on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
